Boathouse on the Bay is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for all visitors who access our website.

Accessibility Standard and Measures

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as our technical accessibility target. Our work includes automated code checks, keyboard and task-based testing, review of content and documents, and monitoring of important visitor journeys.

We also provide the UserWay accessibility widget as an optional visitor tool. The widget supplements, but does not replace, our work to make the website itself accessible.

Our Ongoing Efforts

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We review material website changes before release and continue to test the live website so that newly introduced barriers can be identified and addressed.

Third-Party Services

Some reservation, online-ordering, gift-card, video, and private-event functions are provided by third parties. We work with those providers on accessibility concerns. If a third-party service creates a barrier, please contact us for assistance or an alternative way to complete the task.
